Of course, LED TV also has some disadvantages.
First, the costs are still much higher than traditional CCFL backlight, which continues to be technology development and production continued to expand.
Second, LED backlight supply chain than traditional CCFL backlight supply capability maturity, it is not easy to produce convergence, the delivery will not ring true phenomenon.
Third, the LED edge-lit backlight brightness and uniformity than traditional CCFL backlight, so technology developers must be added the many optical materials and components, which enhances the product design and supply chain complexity.

Supply chain challenges
